Recently one Indian blogger experiencing a scam by snapdeal.com. He received old and used low quality product. After return request showing that product must be return with in 5 days and after some time he received a message that “Sorry, we’re unable to pick your item up. Please courier it to our warehouse”, that mean pickup courier feasibility not available. Now he send email to customer care: email@example.com and receive an automated reply: “We are no longer handling queries sent to this email address – ‘firstname.lastname@example.org’. Next day he got same message that pickup courier feasibility not available. Now he contact snapdeal facebook social team on snapdeal page and they talk that give some time for looking this matter and his problem will be solve. Next day snapdeal social team replay him that they still working on this matter. Finally today he receive a call from snapdeal social team that pickup courier feasibility not available in his area and product must be sent warehouse within policy time period mean under 2 days. He asking to snapdeal care that if send it through 1 days prime courier service then courier charges will be 350+ india rupee and snapdeal will refund this? Snapdeal team says big No and saying there limit 200 rupee only. He asked snapdeal care that why they send old damaged product and after 3 days holding saying they can not do anything. Actually they don’t want any return. Snapdeal care says that snapdeal have strong buyer policy that snapdeal can change any T&C any time, so he can’t nothing against snapdeal. Also many courier service not supported reverce parcel or single pickup and rate is very high.
He never facing this type problem with amazon.in and amazon have good user friendly policy for there customer. We think this reverse process was responsibility of snapdeal. Now blogger friend thinking that he lost 699 rupee for take a lesson from Snapdeal fraud service and donate the amount to snapdeal as charity. 🙂
SNAPDEAL IS FRAUD AND SCAM :
- If you notice you will see snapdeal only shows reviews for 5 star and 4 star rating.
- They do not have any e-mail ID
- Their Customer care number is chargeable.
- Their facebook page is filled with thousands of complains which have not been resolved for months.
- Snapdeal cancels the order after getting payment and does not refund for months.
- In the name of replacement they resend the damaged product.
- The app do not give proper update for tracking the process.
- The CSRs only give copy pasted reply.
- They give false update; without even contacting the customer they update that delivery or pick up failed as consignee did not respond or consignee was unavailable.
- Even after contacting snapdeal CEO on facebook or email does not help.
Dear Friends, We would like to warn all buyer to stay away from snapdeal due to their fraudulent buyers policies. Snapdeal delivers the poorest quality, short desirable products to the consumers. Now snapdeal is one of the biggest fraud company, if you search google then you will get 10 lakh+ complaints over internet. If you write a mail to them they will simply reply with predefined answers, So it will be painful for a customer to run behind those people to get your money back. After going trough their Facebook page, we also found that there are lot of people facing similar experience. Once customer has paid the money in advance they simply don’t care. Actually they are simply arrogant, careless staff are involved in this type frauds. Also any returns you make the refund is sent to your Freecharge account which further increases their transactions and valuation.
